1970s Vintage Black and Gold Applique CaftanThis is a great and versatile caftan in a black poly jersey that is easy to travel and wear. On this simple base is fabulous cord applique panels applied to the neck and front and down each sleeves and all around the cuffs. The cord work appears to have been hand done in panels and then hand sewn into place onto the caftan. The cord is a deep gold color and pops against the black backdrop. Excellent condition.
